The Wise Report: 2/26/08- The Good, The Bad, and The Yao

It was 42 degrees yesterday in wonderful Clinton, NY and now its 28 and snowing. I am getting pretty sick of this weather. Bring on golf season.

Peter Forsberg, the man, the legend, is rejoining the former Quebec Nordiques in an attempt to resurrect past glory in Colorado. Good luck to you sir. Seeing as Forsberg hasnt played a full season in about 4 years and spent his last 3 NHL years in Philly and Nashville I wouldn't go as far as to say he's BACK but it does beat him playing in Sweeden.

Bring Barry Bonds to Tampa Bay, or the New York Yankees (PLEASE), the man could play the old Mo Vaughn game of Home Run or Out and still bat .250 with a truckload of walks. There are very few, if any, players in the MLB who contest with Bonds on an at-bat to at-bat comparison. Ill take him and his 25 bombs in New York any day.

Yao Ming is out for the season. If you havent been watching the NBA then shame on you, this has been one of the best seasons in the recent history of the sport. My boys, the Houston Rockets, were on a 12 game tear and now Yao goes down with a broken foot. Sitting on the brink of making the playoffs, this is not what you want to have happen. God damn his malnourished Chinese childhood, lets get these kids some calcium.

4 Players have submitted to the undying will of the frozen head of Ted Williams, only one still has a yonson.
